Cultural Rhythms, an annual event put on by the Harvard Foundation, is

[A] cultural festival which involves some thirty student groups of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds and which celebrates Harvard’s cultural diversity through student performances and ethno-cultural cuisine. This event is attended by over two thousand students. Each year the students and faculty of the Harvard Foundation select a distinguished performing artist as Artist of the Year.

This year’s Artist of the Year is none other than Shakira and we will perform for her on Saturday, February 26th! The show sold out just after she was announced as the Artist of the Year. We’re currently finalizing our popurrí for the performance; what we have going now is a great combination of two songs.

This April we will have two concerts, on April 8th and 9th, to celebrate the Tenth Anniversary of Mariachi Veritas de Harvard. These concerts will be more of a regional/collegiate showcase, with performers from different colleges. Hopefully this forms the seeds for greater collaboration with other schools’ music and dance groups. More information will be posted as details are finalized.

If you’d like any more information on the group, feel free to send us a message via our contact page.
